Happy Halloween!

Caden is not a very scary skeleton huh?

Dad and Caden!

Caden getting ready to go out trick or treating. Buck is hoping for some treats too!

Caden as a cute, cute lion!

Here are a few pictures from Halloween. Actually, Caden got to dress up in two different costumes. Since his preschool is a baptist academy, they had a Noah's Ark party instead. They each had to be an animal. Caden wanted to be a lion. Isn't he cute?
Colton through on a mask and ran and Devin was at his girlfriend's house...{sigh}

Pumpkin Carving

Saturday night we had our traditional pumpkin carving party...without Devin though. He was on a date with his girlfriend. Yes, girlfriend. Caden, Colton and I had a fun time though and even carved one for Devin. Colton's, Caden's, Mom's, and Devin's
Caden VERY excited the next morning. Flapping his little hands and everything. He can't wait for pumpkin day!

Two cute brothers with their pumpkins.

Caden showing off his handy work. He did most of it himself!

September Birthdays!

September is a month of lots of birthdays...2 in our house!
Colton wanted homemade chocolate cake with chocolate icing.
Colton had football practice until 8pm so we made his favorite dinner (beef stroganoff, corn and flaky biscuits)....yum!

Getting a birthday hug from Caden!

We love Colton so much! He is a very special "teenager"!

Next up was my birthday. Strawberry cheesecake, family and Caden said he would color me a picture of a heart because I was his best friend. Doesn't get much better than that!!

Trip to Whitehorse

The weekend before school started we decided to take off for the Yukon Territory in Canada. It is a short ferry ride to Skagway and a short car ride to Whitehorse.

We always stay in a cute and cozy little cabin about 20 miles outside Whitehorse.

Outside we made a fire and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. You can see the view (it is so quiet and beautiful up there).

Devin and I made the PERFECT s'more. Perfectly roasted marshmallows.

Finally, a foggy hello to Alaska as we passed back through the border. It was a fast and fun weekend. Full of swimming, laughter and family.
